Ginger Turmeric Immunity Boost Shots
Equipment
- 1 Juicer Omega or similar brand
- 1 knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 10 whole lemons organic, if possible
- 1 lb. fresh turmeric root
- ¾ lb. fresh ginger root
- ¾ cup honey
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Wash the lemons, turmeric, and ginger thoroughly.
- Keeping the peels and rinds intact, cut the lemons, turmeric, and ginger into small pieces, about the size of ½ inch.
- Put the lemons (peel on), turmeric, and ginger pieces one by one through the juicer.
- Mix the fresh pressed juice with the water and honey, mix well.
- Store the juice in glass jars with the lids on for up to 3 weeks in the fridge. Enjoy 3 oz at a time to keep the immune system strong. Option to add a sprinkle of cinnamon or black pepper for an extra "kick",
