Easy Homemade Marinara Sauce

Our easy homemade marinara sauce is made with just four basic ingredients, this sauce is quick to whip up and packed with flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes Cento brand
  • ½ Tbsp dried oregano
  • ½ Tbsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, add the minced garlic and water. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dry oregano, and salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, cover with a lid, then reduce the heat to low.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for at least 10 minutes, up to 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve your homemade marinara sauce over your favorite pasta or use it as a base for other Italian dishes. Enjoy!
