Instructions
In a medium-sized saucepan, add the minced garlic and water. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dry oregano, and salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, cover with a lid, then reduce the heat to low.
Allow the sauce to simmer for at least 10 minutes, up to 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve your homemade marinara sauce over your favorite pasta or use it as a base for other Italian dishes. Enjoy!
